I hope this post finds you well, happy and complete. As I continue to write my book I am reminded of this page to be part of it. In fact, it sort of reminds me of a short message I received today from a dear friend that shared something with me and after I replied, she said,” I know our beliefs aren’t the same….” In which through synchronicity this came across my path. And I simply replied, that there are many paths to God, and as long as they lead to the One Creator, the One God, then that is all that matters. As we are all many flowers in one Garden, nurtured and cared for by the one almighty. I then reminded her the over used word, “Namaste” in which many don’t know the meaning. Simply, to recognize that the God in them is the same God in me, and with that recognition, I celebrate our oneness. Yet below, was indeed a part of this whole concept of God. Who is your God?
Who is your God? It may seem a bit strange to ask this question. In fact you may have all sorts of ideas about God. You may even have great, descriptive statements about God. You may however speak of allness or completeness, but what ultimately do these words really mean anyway? Are you just trying to describe something that is indescribable? I believe that such efforts tend to fall short because you are essentially trying to capture in recognizable terms something that can only be experienced uniquely and personally. While in the Bible, the Koran, the Rig-Vedas, or even The Science of Mind, these textbooks may only be guideposts along the way to self-discovery, they cannot give you the experience of the Infinite. They in fact may only acquaint you with ways in which to pursue the experience, and if you pursue the infinite experience it might be wise to make ready for the limitless God instead of the rather constricted God that is sometimes portrayed and expected. So you see my sweet beautiful friend, when in prayer, is it with fear and misgivings that “it’ll never happen” or “nothing will change?” If this is so, then your God may be way too small. It then becomes that your God is constrained, not big or powerful enough to be greater than any of the conditions that intimidate you throughout your life. You then maybe should be asking yourself instead, “Who is my God?” regularly and then surrender your limited notions to the wonderful Spirit that cannot be contained by any person, place or thing. This being said, without any doubt, it is a Great day! Enjoy!
Treatment/Prayer
“God, the essence of wholeness, brings completeness to my life at this moment in time. I lack absolutely nothing. I am fulfilled. I am God’s beloved. I know that beyond my limited perceptions the God of my being is greater than I can imagine. This knowledge frees me to extend myself into the vastness of the greater Self. I am greater than even my own fears or mistakes. I am God in action. I know this is so and so it is.”
Indeed it is a great day! Peace and Abundant Blessings always.
