Valentine's

Well, as the saying goes...."Love is in the air." I think it more so now that this is the last weekend before that special day we think about those we love and mostly the sweethearts in our lives. Nothing wrong with this holiday, in fact it is quite endearing to say the least. However, it also has become one of the most commercialized holidays there are. From countless sales of roses to ridiculous giant teddy bears. Yes sometimes as they say, less is more. But again, I am not in the heart of those brothers and sisters to judge who make such a statement. So, blessed be them indeed.

With that all said, it is true that many of us do delight in the passions of Love. Yet, some of us tasted its sweetness and bitterness just the same. While there are many who also welcome the fragrance of its beauty. In any case dear one, there is a love that cannot be denied or ignored. Yet, as many are immersed in the actions of what to do and how to show love to the ones in their lives, they forget about this one love I speak of here. This kind of love is the utmost beginning of all love itself. Do you know what it is? If not, then take a moment and sit quietly; listen to that beautiful voice within. Know that voice is love herself. Know that love is God/Spirit in action. For we are as the Divine, made in the image and the likeness of the Great bestower. So again, what is the love I speak of dear one? The love of Self. Yes it is all that simple, Again, I say the Love of Self. It all starts within each of us. For if we don't love ourselves first and foremost, then I say how can we expect anyone else to love us? In the same token how can we truly express love to others genuinely and purely? Sometimes I sadly say these are behind the trinkets and words only spoken on a special occasion. Believe me, this is not magic. This is not selfish. This is just the way it is. Now, embrace it and embrace yourself and be oh so kind to yourself and everyday wake up and Love yourself.

As you now see Love in another realm of reality, do indeed express it with full force and have fun giving as well as receiving. Happy Valentine's Day dear friend.
