Maintaining Your Power

(Written: August 13, 2017)

It’s been a little while since I posted. Even though I am in constant flow with the energy of the Divine everyday and every moment, sometimes because it is so automatic, I tend to be a little complacent and not share thoughts so often. As of late, working an average of 10 hour days does take my time to post. Today however, I am back and with a message I think we all can relate to. Today is about maintaining your power. It is so easy to give it up and lose it even when we don’t realize we’ve done so sometimes. For example, when another individual is angry at you or is attacking you verbally. Do you find yourself defensive in the same degree or maybe even more of anger or hatred as they have dished out toward you? Then there are even some of you that may perhaps try to get even with violence or retaliation of some sort. Well I can tell you my friend, you just lost your power within and you have let the attacker win at your expense. This was exactly what the other wanted in some weird way and that they are then in essence a winner. If you would like to call it that. We are then really no better than those who violated our individuality. For me personally, when I was younger and going through a martial arts class, my sensei (teacher) told me that to get angry, one has expelled all of the energy in that one moment than one would use in an entire day. So, I have always remembered that. Think back to the last time you may have got angry, lost your temper, stooped to the others level in trying to get even with the same fuel they generated. Did you not feel emotionally drained as well as physically? Case in point. So my friend, remember to keep your strength. Keep your power. Don’t give it away. You are truly the maker and the some of all things in your life this day. Spiritually this is good and this is healthy. Knowing that everyone has their own paths to tread upon and there very own destination to seek in this lifetime. Remember dear one, your issues are just your own. Be humble. Forgive. Love and know the true meaning of “Namasté.”

Have a beautiful day! Peace and Richest Blessings always.
